Anthony Gallo, M.D. completed medical school at SUNY Upstate and residency at VCU Medical Center. He is board certified by The American Board of Radiology. He practices general radiology with interests in interventional radiology and oncologic imaging.
Bryan Foley, M.D.
Bryan Foley, MD is an Arizona native born and raised in Phoenix. Bryan completed an undergraduate degree in Bioengineering at Arizona State University and Medical Degree at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Diagnostic Radiology residency at Texas Tech University in El Paso, Texas and Neuroradiology fellowship subspecialty training at The University of Arizona. Prior to coming to Flagstaff he was Assistant Professor Faculty at Texas Tech University. Dr Foley is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with specialty interests in neuroimaging, emergency, and general radiology. Bryan enjoys the outdoor lifestyle and beauty of Northern Arizona.
Edward P. Herman, M.D.
Dr. Ed Herman is an Arizona native, born and raised in the Phoenix area. He is married with three children. His undergraduate training was at the U.S. Naval Academy and Arizona State University. He graduated from medical school at the University of Arizona in 1982. His internship and residency training was at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He has additional training in interventional radiology, MRI and nuclear cardiology. He is certified with the American Board of Radiology. Prior to coming to Flagstaff and NAR in 2002, Dr. Herman was in private practice in Phoenix Arizona at Paradise Valley Hospital and Desert Valley Radiology for 16 years where he served as Chief of Interventional Radiology and Chairman of the Radiology Department.
George R. Watson, M.D., J.D.
George R. Watson, M.D., J.D. completed a B.A. degree in mathematics/ computer science from Columbia University in New York City. He received his M.D. degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. His residency was completed in Diagnostic Radiology at New York University Medical Center, New York City. His first fellowship was completed in Vascular Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. His second fellowship was completed in Nuclear Medicine at Cornell University Medical Center, New York City. After an academic year as Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Texas, Dr. Watson entered private practice.
Dr. Watson subsequently received the Juris Doctor degree from Texas A&M University, Fort Worth, TX.
Dr. Watson is dual board certified by the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
His special interests include positive emission tomography (PET) and nuclear medicine.
Ian Musil, M.D.
Ian Musil M.D is a Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist. Ian completed Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Arizona and a Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Before becoming a physician, he spent time at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard as a platform scientist working on high-throughput techniques to study the human genome. Ian's interests include general radiology, interventional oncology, and endovenous ablation. He looks forward to a long satisfying career with Northern Arizona Radiology working at sites in both Flagstaff and Cottonwood.
James A. Skrocki, M.D.
Dr. James Skrocki, born in Ohio, graduated with honors and as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in 1996. He completed his Residency in Diagnostic Radiology while serving in the US Air Force at David Grant Medical Center in Northern California. He is board-certified with the American Board of Radiology.
Prior to joining Northern Arizona Radiology in 2004, Dr. Skrocki served as Chief of Computerized Axial Tomography at Mike O’Callahan Federal Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. His areas of interest are MRI, PET/CT and interventional procedures.
John James, D.O.
Dr. John James graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with undergraduate degree in chemical engineering and masters in biomedical engineering with his research thesis related to hemodialysis. He subsequently graduated from NTSU-Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine with internship in Flint, MI. Radiology residency in the Air Force was completed at David Grant Medical Center after serving as a flight surgeon in Korea and California. He is board certified by both the American Board of Radiology and the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
He has practiced in Arizona since 1987 after completing a multi-specialty imaging fellowship at M.D. Anderson Hospital and Cancer Institute in Houston, Texas. He practiced with the same multi-hospital radiology group based out of Phoenix until his departure in 2014. Part of that tenure included being radiology department chairman at Yuma Regional Medical Center for 10 years and president of the radiology practice. His primary radiology interests are related to non-interventional advanced imaging modalities.
Kenneth V. Salce, M.D.
Kenneth V Salce, MD is a board certified radiologist practicing diagnostic and interventional radiology in Flagstaff, Arizona. Dr Salce attended the University of Southern California, School of Medicine and completed his training at UCLA/Harbor General Hospital and Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center.
Dr Salce has developed an active interventional radiology practice including the treatment of arterial and venous vascular disease. He is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and acts as a medical consultant for W.L. Gore & Associates.
Michael J. LaBenz M.D.
Dr. LaBenz is a native of Wyoming and graduated from the Creighton University School of Medicine in 1995. He completed his residency also at Creighton University in 2000. He has been in active practice with Northern Arizona Radiology since that time. Dr. LaBenz is certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is currently chairman of the Department of Radiology at Flagstaff Medical Center.
Steve Jones, M.D.
Dr. Steven Jones is a board certified radiologist who has been working at NAR since January 2015. Dr. Jones achieved board certification from the American Board of Radiology in 1996 after residency training in the United States Navy at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA. Most recently Dr. Jones completed fellowship training in Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Radiology from Indiana University in 2008.
Dr. Jones proudly served the USA as a general medical officer with the US Navy assigned to the United State Marine Corps First Division, Battalion 1/9. During his service he was deployed as part of Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Later he returned to the Persian Gulf aboard the USS Peleliu. Earlier in his medical career Dr. Jones was stationed abroad with his family in Okinawa, Japan as a staff radiologist.
Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with his family hiking, running, skiing, and an occasional pickup basketball or hockey game.
Steve Ward, M.D.
Dr. Stephen Ward, born in Georgia, graduated from the medical college of Georgia in 1988. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Medical College of Georgia in 1993. He is certified with The American Board of Radiology. He has been a member of Northern Arizona Radiology since 1993.
Dr. Ward performs general radiology with an emphasis on vascular and interventional radiology including varicose vein treatment.
